Week #7 Full Share

Summer Squash (The summer squash harvest wasn't as abundant. Right now we are getting a little from our other summer veggies like tomatoes, sweet peppers, and tomatillos. If you do not have summer squash in your box we replaced it with another one of these items. NOT to worry if you don't get these other summer items as they will fill your box next week and in the coming weeks.

Dear CSA Member, What a beautiful week it has been. We are SO thankful that we got some rain Tuesday & Wednesday night. It was a nice steady rain and the garden soaked it right up. This week will be one more week for the early cabbage. Here are 59 recipes to go with your abundance of cabbage! You will also be getting our harvest of the 2022 garlic. It looks beautiful. It took about two full days to harvest, and hang all the garlic in the barn to dry. We use half the garlic harvest for our CSA and the rest of the garlic gets broken up and used for seed and planted this fall for our 2023 season. An ongoing cycle. Fruit share Members, you will be getting Morello Cherries this week. They are "sour cherries" but, not that sour. Here are some ideas to use your specialty cherries https://onthegas.org/food/morello-cherries/ Enjoy the harvest! Sincerely, Candice for Everyone at Stoneledge Farm p.s- For some reason, our Facebook disappeared and we needed to make a new one.
