Work Shifts
Volunteering is crucial to membership. West Village CSA members are required to sign up for TWO 2-hour work shifts per vegetable share for the 2023 season.
For people sharing/splitting a share (a great option for smaller households), each of the share partners are required to sign up for two 2-hour work shifts.

Each Share member is required to volunteer 4 hours over the season. Those who are not able to volunteer can not sign up for a share.

The first distribution shift runs from 3:30-5:30pm, and the second from 5:30-7:30pm. All shifts take place at our distribution site, The Church of Saint Francis Xavier, 46 West 16th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues.

We use Signup.com, an online calendar system, to manage our work shifts.To sign up for a spot, click on the link below. If you enter your email address, Signup.com will automatically send you a reminder message a few days before your shift.
