Week #20 Dear CSA Member, Just three weeks left for the season. The final distribution date will be Oct. 31. If you have any IKEA fruit bags or extra boxes at home please don't forget to return them so you aren't storing them all winter. Also. don't forget to order any last-minute marketplace items for the winter months from the marketplace. We have a limited supply so stock up while you can. Any orders placed today will be coming the following week (#21). But, if you have your order in the items will be reserved for you. New in your shares this week are sweet potatoes! They will be coming dirty because they will last much longer this way. You will also be getting the last harvest of sweet peppers. This time of year they may have a spot here and there but the peppers are still so vibrant and beautiful that we knew you would enjoy another week of them. If you find a dark spot on your pepper simply cut it out and use the rest of the pepper. Sweet peppers are very easy to freeze as well if you choose to do that. And lastly some cherry peppers... and a reminder that they can be pretty spicy this time of year. We hope you enjoy the harvest! Candice for everyone at the farm
