Fruit shares will be coming in blue Ikea bags this week and for the remainder of the season.
It is really important to bring your bag back each week to pick up to swap it out. We are having a very hard time finding packing supplies due to many shortages.

Fall is in the air! New in your boxes this week is delicata winter squash. Click below for a tasty recipe for this week. Again, due to the rain, these long-time storage crops will not hold as long as they normally would. So please enjoy!
Here on the farm we just had our yearly organic inspection Friday! Everything went well and is always seamless for us. It is always a great accomplishment to re-certify each year!

Storing Tips & Notes:
Peppers- in your produce drawer.
Dill-In a glass of water and cover it with a baggie.
Greens- Wrapped in bag or towel and stored in the refrigerator, produce drawer.
Geen Beans- in your produce drawer.
Delicata Winter Squash- Store in your produce drawer.
Preserving:
Peppers (HOT and sweet) you can freeze (no blanching required) Just wash chop, and freeze.
Jalapeno- You can also string the stems, and hang to dry. Once dry crush them up and store them in a glass jar for the winter months.
Greens- You can blanch and freeze or just wash chop and freeze.
String Beans- You can blanch and freeze or just wash chop and freeze.
Winter Squash- You can cook and freeze.
Beets- You can cook and freeze.
