2021 Season starts Tuesday June 8!
It is such a good feeling to get started. Your first pickup in this coming Tuesday (June 8th) ! I have included your season schedule by clicking here. Please add the dates to your calendar. It is time to get your salad spinners out! Lettuce, Lettuce, Lettuce! Greens will fill the bulk of your box this week. It has been a long winter and, I don’t know about you but, I am ready for a fresh salad! This week you will be getting Butter Head Lettuce. (This is our favorite) The butterhead is a very tender variety that is great for lettuce wraps. You will also be getting Red Cherry Radishes, Boc Choy along with, a few other varieties of lettuce & greens. You will enjoy some Stir Fry, and Salads this week! You will also be getting an oregano transplant. This can be transplanted into a larger pot and placed in a warm sunny place. (water as needed) This is great to have on hand when cooking. Simply harvest a few leaves as needed allowing the plant to keep growing. Each week I will be adding some photos to help with produce identification along with recipes. Simply click the vegetable name it will take you to the recipes. Also, this week we are sending the coffee and dry bean shares for the month of June. If you ordered these please don't forget to pick them up with your vegetables. We are looking forward to a bountiful growing season!

*You will notice some small holes in the leaves of the Arugula and Boc Choy. This is cosmetic damage only and will not affect the flavor. This is caused by a tiny insect that comes out when is it hot. We do our best to keep them out by covering the produce with a cloth called row covering but, they still do manage to get under to the plants.
