Dear CSA Member,

A return of the lettuces! It is always nice to have a return of lettuce this time of year. The lettuces will not grow in the heat of the summer so we always make sure to seed a fall planting of lettuce for your CSA shares. New in your shares this week are Hakurei White Turnips. They beautiful and are very tasty! You can use them raw to dress up a salad or enjoy them cooked. Don't forget to use the greens as well. See some recipes below.

Glazed Hakurei Turnips (with greens) Roasted Hakurei Turnips And Radishes Pan-Roasted Hakurei Turnips

This past week we had our Organic inspection. This usually takes place in June but, due to the pandemic, they weren't able to visit our farm until October. The inspector was very impressed with our production and record keeping. She actually told us we were the most organized vegetable farm she ever inspected. It is seamless for us but, we are happy to have another year in the books! Enjoy the harvest! Sincerely, Candice for Everyone at Stoneledge Farm

Please return fruit bags.

Thank You!
