Celery - Celery: Very Flavorful! Use the leaves as well as the stalk. This also freezes very well and is great in soups and stews. To freeze simply, wash, chop, and freeze.

Dear CSA Member, We hope you are doing well considering the storm we had last week. With the weather, it made for a challenging CSA distribution and we wanted to extend our most thanks to all the CSA volunteers who made distribution happen. Thank You! More tomatoes this week. They won't last too much longer so enjoy them while they are producing! If you are interested in preserving tomatoes for the winter months NOW is the time to do it. We have bulk boxes of tomatoes available through our online marketplace. (Log in to your Member Account to Order) Tomato sauce, chunked tomatoes, chutney whichever you prefer. Storing Tips:

  • Tomatoes- On the counter. (can be stored in the refrigerator if you prefer due to the humid weather)

  • Celery/Leeks- In a damp cloth in the refrigerator.

  • Eggplant /Peppers- In the refrigerator.

  • Oregano- In a jar of water in the refrigerator OR hang to dry.

  • Kale- Rinsed, and placed in a damp cloth in the refrigerator.

Things To Remember:

  • Bulk Mushrooms- 12 pm the FRIDAY before your delivery.

  • All other Marketplace Items- 1 pm the day before your delivery.
