Dear CSA Member, This week we are harvesting the first of the eggplant and we are always excited to see the change from spring to summers harvest. This week you will be getting cucumbers, summer squash, and early spring cabbage. This cabbage is so tender and very universal. It can be made into a slaw or if your brave enough (like I am) to turn on the oven... try a stuffed cabbage! We hope you enjoy the new items in this week's box! Storing Tips:

  • Lettuce - Rinsed in a well-drained salad spinner in the refrigerator.

  • Summer Squash/Cucumbers/Scallions- In the refrigerator crisper drawer.

  • Rainbow Swiss Chard- In a damp cloth or paper towel in the refrigerator.

  • Cabbage- In the refrigerator crisper drawer.

  • Mint In a cup of water in the fridge or wrapped in a damp cloth.

Things To Remember:

  • Bulk Mushrooms- 12 pm the FRIDAY before your delivery.

  • All other Marketplace Items- 1 pm the day before your delivery.
